The Tomahawk is a well known "WOW" factor with a nice big 500mm bone on ribeye. A great feed for 2-4 people.
Cooking Tip: Remove tomahawks from the fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking and bring up to room temperature as it is very thick and you want it to cook evenly through the meat. Rub with oil and seasoning and let it rest in the marinate.
Heat a barbeque or grill to a high heat. Grill the tomahawks, turning occasionally for 10-15 minutes each side. Test for the degree of doneness with tongs. Rare is soft, medium feels springy and well done is very firm.
Transfer to a tray, cover loosely with foil and set aside to rest for 10-15 minutes. Serve with the sides of your choice.
